Laser SC vs. Montero AX
Choose the Laser SC when groomed-slope carving is the clear priority. Its 70 mm waist, multi-turn geometry and piste-focused construction support quick edge engagement and a wide range of carved turn shapes.
Choose the Montero AX when you want strong groomer performance with more width and adaptability. Its 80 mm waist, All Mountain Rocker, Tip and Tail Flex, Adaptive Contact Length and Tail Rocker make it better suited to fresh snow and changing spring conditions.
Laser SL vs. Montero AS
Both skis focus on shorter turns, but they serve different priorities. The Laser SL is a dedicated 66 mm piste ski built for short, fast turns and slalom-style edge changes. The Montero AS uses a wider 76 mm all-mountain/piste platform for skiers who want short-turn energy with greater adaptability as trail conditions change.
Choose the Laser SL for the most direct piste response. Choose the Montero AS when short turns remain important but all-day versatility matters more.
Plate, Binding and Tuning Considerations
High-performance piste skis are strongly influenced by the plate and binding system. The current Laser pages list model-specific WRT, SRT, MC and related plate options, while the Montero pages list integrated plate-and-binding configurations. The correct setup depends on the selected ski, skier and intended use.
